Born in 1785 in North Leith, Scotland, she married Alexander DENHOLM in 1807 at Currie. They had three sons and a daughter Janet who died in infancy. She decided to accompany her husband to Van Diemen's Land in 1822, but the sons were left behind when their sponsors withdrew. They followed five years later. Another son was born in 1825.
She died in 1838.
